| I was born on the winter day of January 13th, 1987 at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. My Lebanese family, who is very dear to me always, as far back as I can remember, have nutured my interests and encouraged me to do whatever i wanted, like basketball, volleyball, playing the flute and pursing art as a career. The only thing I was every truely confident in was my art. I had a feeling that I had something special over other people who just drew stick figures. The entire college process frustrated me. I knew what I wanted to do but deciding what school would be able to provide with that was the hardest for me. I ended up applying to 7 different school. It initially came down to Sage College of Albany and the Art Institute of Boston, and it became the easiest decision me that the only place that would shape me into the artist I wanted to become would be AIB. I am now working on getting my 2 BFA's in Illustration and Graphic Design. Along with living among many other creative people in the fine city of Boston, I am learning so much about myself, my potential and how I want to be seen by others. Until i have more to say, im gonna say peace out for now. ;) |
